Hi,

I'm looking for some feedback on my photos, does anyone mind having a look and telling me what they think if I put a link on here?

Thanks

There are normally photography workshops poodicat which can just be for a day, they're quite good as you get hands on experience and can ask anything you want to know. I started off with a normal digital camera before I got my DSLR, think its a case of practice makes perfect and seeing what works! Thats my dog, she's lovely. I think I might start a website and see what comes from that.

Those 2 that you like sophie are from just a normal digital camera, I took them before I got my proper good camera. Any opinions count whether you're a pro or not!
They're beautiful.

Did you take lots of pictures of the sky divers and that was the best, but they aren't all the frame properly, i know its hard to do, but would make a great picture excellent.

Also the blue of the peacock is gorgeous, did you get any snaps of it with the ploomage on show?
And i'm not really a pro, i'm a gcse art student and for one of my projects i did photography, and did a crash course in it.

Thanks Mollykins. The skydivers picture was taken before I got into photography properly, just a random point and shoot photo without taking much notice of composition! I wish I had the chance to photograph them again, could get a lovely picture.

Unfortunately the peacock wasn't playing ball that day and started getting annoyed with me chasing it round taking photos so I left it alone lol!
shame, i love all the shimmering colours of their feathers, i have some gorgeous peacock eye feather (you know what i mean) earrings from clairs.
liked glenoe/glens/slemish
biased ?
one question caj, you know that fast repeating shots you can do on cameras (for stuff like the sky divers) does it compromise the quality, or is just that you probably won't have time to get a good composition?
Question Author
It would have made a lovely photo mollykins

ha, are you from NI by any chance beejay?!
yup-Caj
Question Author
No, it shouldn't compromise the quality having it on continuous shoot mode, you can see them coming from a long way off which if done properly should give you time to compose the photo and put them in the frame before shooting.
