No-one is feeding the birds at Loch of the Lowes - I know its Christmas holidays and all that but surely if you start feeding the birds in winter you don't just stop because of the holidays.

It is sad, steff, but the winter weather has been appalling up there - I have a work colleague lives not far away. The website says the site is closed due to the weather, not exactly for the holidays.

yes, I've seen that boxy, but that doesn't help those poor wee birds. they were just sitting on the edge of the feeder, in the dark yesterday morning, waiting for food

They are wild birds - they will go off and scavenge for food and return to the feeding stations when there is something put out for them.
