No, I like to see the special offers in Tesco's, I buy as much as I can from the cheap short-dated racks.
No, at Costco.
yes, i usually use sainsbury's but i had an ocado voucher for 15 quid off so i used them last week. I liked them, so may well use them again (nothing to do with the free wine and chocolates bribe if you use them again, promise)
i liked the ocado driver, he actually brougth the stuff into the kitchen for me
My Tesco driver brings the crates in and unpacks them as well.......
where's ocado bednobs, I don't know the store?
it's waitrose's delivery company, but also do their own brands. The delivery is cheaper and if you want an obscure delivery time, it's free
Ocado is Waitrose isn't it?
As I'm disabled I have no choice but to shop on line (or send the hubby but he gets the wrong things). I've tried Tesco's, Sainsbury's and Asda but prefer Tesco as their website is easier.
they do the price match thing with tesco nowadays, plus it'll only let you order things that are actually in stock as it comes from a warehouse rather than the shop. I like that you can also pick a "green" delivery
they also do 1/2 hour time slots
I'm surprised actually 'cos I've never heard of them in the York area, but when I put my postcode on their site it said they delivered to my area......
you've prob never heard of them cause they're not a shop
I do mine with Asda (I have loads of time but a full weeks shopping and two bored toddlers is a bad idea) - but they are bu$$ers for giving you items with really short shelf lives. This week, 2 packs of sliced turkey delivered yesterday, display until today and best before tomorrow.
ocado also give you a minimum shelf life and tell you the average shelf life
i don't work for them honestly
Hiya Jem - I shop Sainsbury online every week. I have found that Sainsbury are more reliable with items not being crunched up and the delivery is always on time if not a bit early. Tesco and Asda come a poor second.
Waitrose opens in York, I think next month so I'm going to give them a try....
Haven't tried delivery yet, but I'm always tempted when the weather is bad. Is there a minimum amount before delivery and how much is delivery?
Varies gran as to when you want your delivery..........Waitrose is free delivery for grocery orders over £50.
I used to have the wine delivered.
