Not sure where to place this question so hoping someone will see it!

My son has a quilted Barbour coat but there are no washing instructions on it at all anywhere. I think they must have been on a label which he obviously threw away when he bought it. There doesn't seem to be any reason why it can't go in the washing machine to me but does anyone have any experience of this?

Thanks everyone

Thanks for taking the trouble to reply!
Dont know if this helps, hubby has a Barbour D893 Classic Eskdale Jacket thats what it says on the label, it is beige and quilted with a tartan lining.
On the reverse of the label it states :-
outer 100% Polyester, Inner 50% polyester/50%cotton Filling 100% polyester
wash at 40 degrees no tumble drying[symbol].So far we have not tried to do so, but will put in the washer when needed.

Coming in late on this question but for those interested was reliably informed that most care and washing instructions on Barbour Jackets are inside the pockets.
I found details on how to wash my Barbour summer Beadnell Quilted ladies coat inside the front pocket and it states can be hand washed at 40 degrees. Never, ever wash a waxed jacket though but details of how to wipe down with cold water and Re-proof at home are available on Barbour site. Can also be sent to Barbour for reproofing and repairs at reasonable cost. Hope this helps as l found it hard to find answers without a fair bit of research.
Thanks for asking the question, jayne and thanks for the answer, dolly.

The washing instructions are indeed inside the front pocket. :)
