i cant go and collect some things ordered online from next at a local store. can someone else pick them up for me? do they need id, my id etc? after all anyone could go and get them couldnt they.

If you order online don't they usually send the goods to you ?

im abroad at the moment so a friend is collecting within the 14 day period they keep stuff.

I would say if she's got some sort of reciept she could pick them up for you. If you've got an email reciept for the goods email it to her, I would think that would be good enough, also ring the shop and explain the situation to them. hth.
