You know what you want to do? Write a sloppy note, asking him if you can set a date, and tell him you love him. Put it inside an opaque balloon, and tie a big ribbon round it. When he bursts it, he'll find your message! : )

Hun - it works. i've used that one on the husband - not to propose though, because we were already married - but just to tell him all the sloppy stuff. I also put lots of confetti into the balloon, but you have to use a funnel, otherwise it goes all over the place and you can't get it into the balloon properly.
