Is there a flower out there that can be bought in the uk called mairi or mum?

Chrysanthemums are often just called "mums" but I can't find a mairi in my plants book. Sorry not more helpful.

Like Lucca says - chrysanthemums are often referred to as 'mums'. On the same vein - maybe mairi is short for marigold?
