Only ever had one refund, took months and they deducted a 15 admin fee. The refund process is woeful.
I made a claim a few months ago as a wardrobe I bought was never delivered-the seller was a company and it looked like he wasn't delivering anything to anyone. I put in a claim and because I'd paid throught paypal I got a full refund. It did take a month or so but that's to let both parties state what happened. The seller never replied and so the claim was awarded in my favour.
Have you bought something that's not arrived and did you pay through paypal?

Hi Sgt.Rock
Does the site inform you that they deduct money?

Hi , mumof3angels,
I did pay with paypal, but the seller never communicated with me at all, hence the claim. It turned up today after 10 days, but I refused to accept it, as I requested a refund twice last week.
I think it does state about the fee somewhere. Seller was a fraudster who deleted his account as soon as he received money from several people.
I don't know how you'd stand with that one yerbamate. But in my opinion the seller should have got in touch as soon as you opened a dispute stating that they were going to deliver the item. I hope you get it resolved. Good luck.
Do you mean though paypal? Ive never had a problem getting a refund through paypal, they've never taken any admin fee from me either

However if you pay by cheque you may never see your money again as happened my friend recently with an unscrupulous seller
Had a problem earlier this year when I didn't receive an item, the seller said no problem it's insured, nothing happened but when I contacted the seller again he said I was trying to cheat him and get 2 for the price of 1!
No point getting into a slanging match, so I contacted Ebay and let them sort it out.Within a month I had a full refund via paypal, 2 weeks later the seller sent on the item with an apology and no charge! Ebay will investigate if you hit a brick wall.
