I know this should probably be in Shopping but I'm aiming for the chattermonkeys tonight...lol What is your favourite shop (and why) ? Mine has to Maplins ..........shurrup, I know I am a girl but I hate clothes shops with a vengeance and I find the supermarkets seriously tedious..... now give me some dosh to spend on exciting computery type stuff or curly cable or a new screwdriver and I am in heaven.... Failing that, I can happily traipse around a pro-kitchen website for eons.... whilst the tool department in B&Q is also one of my favourite places to hang out...

(I used to live in Seven Dials)
Hi jugglering , I like B&Q too , could look round it over and over , also PC World , and the homeware sections of the major supermarkets . xxxxx

Ohhhh Mamma... have you tried Staples instead of PC World ? I spent a really happy hour in Maplins earlier on today.... and then came home and wandered around a couple of on-line pro chef sites... looking for (wait for it..... hehe) some pastry cutters - but they had to be in a little tin ! None of the ones in the real world shops sell them in little tins.... doh
Hi jugglering

Yep, both in The Lanes actually. I'm not very adventurous. I don't stray too far away (although I was up in London on Saturday night).

I know Seven Dials. Up Dykes Road !! Appropriate for Brighton :-)

There's a decent restaurant up there, the Sevendials Restaurant (not a very imaginative name, but a nice place).
ps. jugglering, does that mean you don't live here any more? How could you leave. I can't think of anywhere I would want to live more than Brighton. I love living here.
We have a very large Staples here , and I bought a shredder , a laptop bag , and several other bits in there . I lik the bigger choice of computers and software in PC World though.
We have a really charming little shop here that stocks all those sorts of little things such as the pastry cutters in a tin and everything that you can't buy in the bigger shops.
xxxxxxx
I also like maplins (but I'm meant to, I'm a bloke!) and I like a local shop call rapid (http://rapidonline.com ) which is like maplins but only about half mile from me.

I also tend to spend far too much at amazon on music, games, book, and gadgets. (though not the same gadget as Jayne seems to like, though I also liked the lanes when I lived down there)

oh and I like winding the staff up in places like PC world, play dumb to start then ask increasingly more and more technical questions, sad I know but passes the time :)
We have one of those little corner shops which are about the size of most peoples sitting rooms, and they sell everything you ever seem to need.
Hi ChuckF. Someone else who tore themselves away from Brighton? Hope you've stayed loyal to The Seagulls as an expatriate supporter :-)

There seem to be a few ABers with Brighton connections. We could have a reunion. Somewhere in The Lanes, obviously. Maybe at The Cricketers.

Hey Winey, didn't see you there. Have you been here all day?
Hi jj. I've been working on the laptop all day, so I've popped in and out of AB from time to time.

LOL at your choice of shops. I'd been wondering where I could get a couple of rolls of bondage tape :-) (yes, I clicked the links).

How was the run?
My favourite online shop is Play.com and high street shop is Sussex Stationers. I love going in there and looking at all the books. I went in there on Friday and bought a book about Jane Parker who was Anne Boleyns sister-in-law.
Hey Winey, why you looking at bondage tape? Lol
Good run thanks WB, but very sweaty (you maybe didn't want to know that).

Why do you need two rolls of bondage tape? It's not sticky. It's like plastic, and it clings to itself. So you can reuse it. Just buy one roll, LOL....

I'd recommend the fur lined leather handcuffs.

The girls who were with me on Saturday night? Two of them have worn my pair !!! (winks mischievously)
