I've actually been to traditional German festivals, where guys were wearing lederhosen, but I've never noticed what's on their feet. Clogs? I thought that was just Holland - but I agree that brogues would be out of place ;-)

ok ok ,i changed from aol to virgin , i downloaded all the virgin stuff to get started. then when i came on to ab i could not post so had to re register i tried with my old username and was told to sling my hook as it was already in use so had to think of a new name , as it is late at night and i am not at my best i used the first name that i could think of, and having seen some of the posts on here i thought this name would be apropriate. when you put umbj at the end of your kermit thingy i thought it was funny as my name is normaly jacko50, so umbj = u must be jacko, now i know you did not mean that but it struck me as funny . sorted.
Just tried an image search on AltaVista (much better than Google). I've found everything from bare feet, through to woollen sockings, leather stockings, leather shoes, etc). I think I'll leave footwear questions to Dot Hawkes ('cos that's her specialism).
Anyway, I ought to try to get my body clock back to where it needs to be. I don't need to be up particularly early in the morning but it's a 5am start on Wednesday (12 hour shift), Thursday (15 shift) and Saturday (16 hour shift), so perhaps I should try to convince my system that this is the time when I ought to be sleeping!
Good night!
