Can anybody tell me the name of a range of cartoon dolls with big eyes. They look like Blythe dolls, but they're called something else. I thought it was Bebo, but that doesn't seem to be right. It's not Bratz.
Many Thanks

Do you mean the powerpuff girls?
Diva Starz?

No, it's neither of those. You can buy black and white handbags with them on. They are retro-looking
Those would be the Blythe dolls, scoobysoo...honest!

Really? My friend has a bag, and it has the name down the side and I swear it's not Blythe
Well the only bags I have seen with big eyed dolls on are Blythe.

As a vintage fashion doll collector I have seen a fair few of them adorned by the real Blythe collectors..so at a guess, yes they are Blythe..lol.
Question Author
Yeah...that does look similar
Question Author
I wish I could remeber that word....guess it was the bag manufacturer
Was it Takara?

Takara are making the reproduction Blythe dolls, so they may well have made the bags too.

Just a thought.
Question Author
Nope - definitely a small word like Bebo. Maybe it was an abbreviation for something like Blythe....something...something
LOL..now I am intrigued!
A long shot I know ~ but could it have been Biba?

Both Biba and Blythe were around at the same time so maybe the newer Biba range has done Blythe bags?
I may be way off track here, but you don't mean Betty Boop do you?

That's it!!! Well done Pippa!!!!
