Sunday opening in France

Does anyone know if the hypermarkets in France will be opening on a Sunday for Christmas shopping?

well currently living in paris i can tell you that all of the hypermarkets around me are closed today, as every sunday, not sure about christmas yet. but as a general rule the hypermarkets are closed on sunday but other shops are open.
