I have a two-year-old JVC lcd television (26") and, from the top right-hand corner, there appears to be a 'smear' - which is slowly spreading across the screen (pinkish tinge to it). Initially, I thought there was dirt on the screen but, no, this is 'inside' the screen. Is anybody able to tell me a) what this is, b) can it be fixed, and c) what the likely cost would be.
Thank you to anybody who replies - I appreciate it.

Do you have anything on top of the tele? Like a clock or something? I had this a few years back when i kept my phone on top of the tv. it's something to do with the magnetism. If you don't have anything at all on your tele, then I can't help!

Dear Perky72, thank you so much for responding. No! Apart from there not being room on a flat panel tv, I have never put anything on top of a tv - too distracting! However, I really appreciate you're replying. Thanks again.
my mate had his speaker next to the telly and it caused this too!
