Can anyone help me?

My father it trying to get hold of a brochure/leaflet that shows and lists all current British definitive stamps (that's the one's you buy at the Post Office with the Queen's Head on). He's a collector and would like to buy one of each. However, he's reluctant to simply purchase one of everything they have at the PO just incase some are out of stock (he wants them all). He also thinks it would be a little time consuming, whereas he could probably order online or mail order if he knew exactly what he was after.

Any stamp collectors who can help him please?

He could have a look here
http://www.britainusa.com/faq/showfaq.asp?SID= 372
the Royal Mail website is good too
http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm
All current British definitive stamps are listed here:

(I note that web address has a 'Session ID' in it, which might mean that it will expire. If it doesn't work, just go here:
http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump1?catId =500185&mediaId=400139
and click' definitive stamps' from the column on the left).

Unfortunately that picture on the Royal mail web site is a couple of years out of date - some of the stamps pictured are no longer available at Post Offices and some new values have been introduced. (A philatelic centre should have the old ones). The high value ones shown also no longer exist.

1 2 5 9 10 20 37 42(maybe) 44 49 50 72 1 1st 2nd are certainly available now. 60p and 1.12 or 1.19 may be but I only recall seeing them on special issues. Not sure about the E stamp either - haven't seen one in ages.

As well as the ones I listed my local PO has 43p stamps - they are not sure why as this is not a current postage rate.
