We recently moved into a house, and have just found some unused sterilised needles behind one of the wardrobes (the house is rented and part-furnished). I know you're not supposed to throw these in the bin, so what do we do with them? Take them to the GPs?

I agree - you should take them to your local doctor/dentist/hospital and they will dispose of them in the sharps box, and will be incinerated along with any other clinical waste.

A xXx

Or if you phone your local Council and speak to the refuse department they will probably have a procedure in place to come and collect them if you are concerned.

your local chemist should be able to dispose of them for you
sell them on e bay

Just tape inside an old sardine tin or what ever and sling em in the bin. If they were used I would of advised not to even touch them but as they are unused a bit of common sense when disposing will be good enough.
