Taking Exercise

Just heard Robert Jenrick say Golf and Tennis are banned for 4 weeks.Families can go for a walk or you can walk with one other yet a husband and wife who play golf or tennis together with no one else have to stop for a month.Joined up thinking seems to be lacking on this issue.

In reality, how many golfing or tennis couples are made up of husband and wife? Bad enough that these venues are losing out on income without then having to stay open to provide services just for the ‘couples’ who use them.

Golf courses are open spaces but the club houses aren’t.I was just using this to illustrate the point.Also,Robbie Savage,someone who irritates me on the radio,say how ca it be than his son can play football within his year group and yet can’t play with his mates on a weekend.Joined up thinking lacking here.

A bet if golfing was allowed peopel would complain that its because its more of a middle class upper class game so maybe darts should be allowed. Goverments cant win

The bigger picture Bobbinwales is that numpty Drakeford and bungling Boris have all taken too long to act.Those two and Wee Burney should have got their heads together and worked out a plan for Great Britain,it’s all too late now,sticking plaster won’t work.

Maybe, at least Drayford acted earlyer than the others but while we may feel its to little to late many are critcizing him and Borris saying its all unecessary, save the economy not old peopel. But whatever, tinkring with the rules to accomodate the change your talking about would not help control the virus at all and in the scheme of things is not worth worrying about IMO.

I have done what I have been told all along and have worked through the entire pandemic Sqad trying to keep people like you fed and safe when you come shopping so don’t preach to me about doing what you’re told.

grumpy........good,that is what sanctions and recommendations are all about in a pandemic due to a highly contagious virus.
Not enough people unfortunately are doing just that and are knocking a system that is certainly flawed but trying to maintain both sides of the system HEALTH and ECONOMY, so I repeat.......do what you are told and if you are doing so,then continue.

It is madness. We're going in to lock down on Thursday. 3 people in my household will continue to go out to work. I'm the only one confined to the house. What's the point if they are all mixing with people.
