I couldn't buy any cat food in Tesco today, the entire rack was empty of all brands. Is this the latest to be added to the panic buying list?

Oh no. My corner shop had some yesterday. I really hope they don't run out. Having a cat crying at you as like having a baby.
Oh dear. I’ve got a few bits in stock for my mog, but they’re things she doesn’t like too much. She might just have to lump it.
I'm getting low. Although mine will go and hunt bunnies.
Let the cat out.
It will feed itself :-)
My cat doesn't like going out.
Ummm - you will have to go hunting for it then -)

I have 2 (they do go out)and they are far too snooty to feed themselves, they'll play with it but not eat it. On a serious note it would be very stressful for all of us if I didn't have proper stuff to give them. Maybe it was just a bad day do you think?
With respect, Prudie...everything is on the panic buying list. :-)
still available on Amazon for delivery tomorrow
I'll cook for him of I run out of cat food. He is a bit spoilt.
Loo rolls, cat food, dog food, nappies, common sense, all chasing each other over the hills.
Try a local shop. I got all the things I couldn't get in Sainsburys at my local 'One Stop' shop.

Potatoes, onions, eggs.
Theland, with respect, I have to disagree with you. Although a feral cat can feed itself in the wild, letting a domestic cat out does not mean it will feed itself. If a cat has not been taught to hunt by its mother, it does not necessarily see mice or birds as food. Domestic cats whose mothers had no need to hunt will kill mice or birds for fun, and some will indeed eat part of them, but most domestic cats used to being fed by humans will become ill very quickly if left to their own devices. Please, do not abandon your cat and assume she will survive. She probably won't.
I am getting a Tesco delivery tomorrow, it will be three weeks until the next one.

I ordered a couple of boxes of Felix and some individual sachets. They didnt have the Felix available and my usual order of ten sachets of one delicacy was restricted to three.I

He screams if he gets the "wrong" food so this period alone with him could be stressful.

There was plenty when I got my usual week supply last weekend so this is a new one on me.
@susan, felix available on amazon
There was plenty of Felix in Wilko today if you have one near you.
If things get really bad, maybe you could eat the cats.
They wouldn’t be so snooty then.
There seems to be quite a lot in stores around here. (Gloucestershire) I had to get a big packet of special diet food for my boy today, as he's running low. I usually get the smaller one, but thought I need to make sure he has plenty in. £42!
Jordy! I'm a dog lover too but that ^would never enter my head.
