you might think this is old fashioned but I would suggest a good board game
what price bracket ?
Mixed hamper. Make it yourself. Some chocolates, fruit, nuts, individual Xmas cake, candle, cheese, crackers etc
I agree with folly fancier. Board games can be great fun for all ages.
I usually buy about 20 presents in total for my lad and his family, with some presents for individuals (including the dog!) and some for the family as a whole. I'll normally include at least one DVD of a family movie among them, so maybe that's a possibility for you?

This year I've included Petit Nicolas because, at 9, I reckon that the youngest child can now cope with subtitles without difficulty:

(It's one of the funniest film ever!)

I've also included Smallfoot, which gets good reviews:

A games compendium....they are great fun and as you probably know contain a variety of games. there should be something that will suit all ages. The a dded bonus is that it will last for years.
Cheese is popular in our family, how about a whole Edam?

Big bundle of toilet rolls. Everybody uses them :-)
