Red has decided he likes them now as having one is an essential part of his discharge plan.
So the spare will become the bed bath bowl....

Bed bathing tip:

Always keep close by a spray bottle of cold water.

;-)...Gx
what colour is it?
Alba may be thinking along the lines I'm thinking, that you'll need a couple spare rowan, two different colours plus the same of flannels. One for the top half of the body and one for the lower part x

I have two, I bought a special white one for clean bits and the blue one is for dirty bits. I have loads of tablecloths and they are sending him home with packs of wipes etc. I have also got scented binliners and no a spray of cold water is not on my list. Gness this is terminal care not foreplay

Face cloths
I'm sorry if I offended, Rowan......I have been in exactly the same position as you are now...exactly the same.....and we used humour right up until the final minutes because that was the only way we didn't both completely break down......but again....apologies.....x
I bought a big bottle of the no water foam body wash, it was very useful and gentle - the District Nurse wouldn't touch it preferring a very vigorous approach with hot water.flannel and bar soap.

Bill glowed pink for an hour after her visits.

Best wishes Rowan.x

Gness I wasn't offended at you daft bat, do you think even now I'd not enjoy the image of Dave hitting the head board with the shock

:-) .
Ah.....I had thought that Red would be now be in the care of a woman with the same weird sense of humour as MrG had been...... :-)

In truth, Rowan...if you're both like we were, then holding onto the good bits of a relationship at a time like this is so very important.....
Ours was a fun relationship and my humour helped us deal with the things we had never imagined would be happening to us....

Take care....love and a bum pat to Red.... Gx
Ok daft question maybe ....but why a cold water spray, gness ?

Not a spurious enquiry, but possibly a need to know situation in the near future ....

Love and supporting thoughts to you both, red and rowan xxxx
Well, Seek....in my experience bed bathing can be a routine chore.....or you can have a little bit of fun.....which may sometimes need the splash of cold water to calm things down....if, for example, you need to get on with the ironing....or dusting..... ;-)
"where there's life there's an .... enthusiastic response" ?
Errr, I see....I think .....

Btw I don't put the word need anywhere in relation to ironing and dusting !!
Oh dave ! You cheeky lad !! Xx
mamya has reminded me that we used a gentle bath soap liquid for my dad, a weak solution as too strong made his skin itch, it's handy to have a soapy bowl and a clear water bowl to rinse off.
^ It being much easier to have pre lathered water than to use soap x
Oh there's never a need, Seek.....just as an excuse so as not to over excite the patient....if you haven't already...
In that case, carry on and forget the ironing/dusting...... ;-)
Reading what red and rowan are going through right now must bring back to those who have already been through this many emotions, it has for me.
