Which of the following list of toys was my granddaughter's favourite during her recent visit?
Duplo, fisher price pull along phone, several soft toys or a biscuit tin and wooden spoon.

Yes, the tin and spoon. She also enjoyed putting things in a large envelope and pulling CDs off the rack:-)

When my two were small they would spend ages with an old tin jug full of clothes pegs.


Amazing how simple things can amuse.

My two used to spend hours playing in a large cardboard box.

My 3 year old's favourite is an old wall phone, an old mouse ( as in keyboard) with a wire, a tiny plastic coathanger. The last two joined together become a hairdryer, drill , vacuum cleaner and many more we haven't figured out yet. Also any kitchen gadgets I let him have.

when I was a kid [many many years ago] I had to have a operation and my mother was told to bring my favorite toy she was most embarrassed explaining why I was dragging a old electric kettle around with me
