I've just found myself in Mumsnet and had to laugh at a post in Food.

A poster wanted suggestions for what to do with a packet of puff pastry that she had no room for in her freezer.......now wondering if she buys her puff in industrial quantities!

Anyway, one suggestion was salmon and another was sausages. Apparently DD1 doesn't like sausages so Mummy is now googling for salmon en croute recipes.

Meanwhile I'm now fancying a homemade sausage roll :-)

I accidentally went to that website in search of a competition. It was like a battle zone, I left quickly.

It was more like Bitchnet than Mumsnet.
My daughter was banned from Mumsnet for disagreeing with a rather pompous ladies advice.

It isn't for the faint hearted that's for sure -it makes SAB look fluffy!
Was it another question and answer site then? Never heard of that one
Getting back to the pastry, watching a repeat of Saturday Kitchen over Christmas, Brian Turner had a Sausage roll with Sage & Onion stuffing in the centre of the sausagemeat. That looked and sounded gert lush, Eccles!

My favourite sausage roll is home made puff with finely crumbled pork crackling introduced for the last two fold and rolls and some apple added to the pork sausage meat. Yum and double yum :-)
Isn't Mumsnet the infamous site where one woman stated her partner kept a glass of water at the side of the bed for washing his bits after sex? It caused an uproar :-)
Lol....yeah, I think it is.

I don't remember which site it was but I do recall getting through a box of Kleenex from crying with laughter at that thread.

I've bee having a bit more of a look around mumsnet.....it is definitely scarier than SAB........
If bednobs is around she'll remember a poster on here a year or two ago who used to post made-up threads involving far-fetched scenarios about nursing home fees, bizarre pension scheme conditions, 4am jogging, and often joined in his own threads under different names and tripped himself up. Well, last time I looked on mumsnet he/she seemed to be doing the same thing on there.
Just to clarify, it's not my thread!!
