Just seen a wonderful one and I made myself laugh with my daft retort. I didn't post it though.

It would depend on the OP - some are open to jokey replies whereas others simply want the grid complete with correct answers.


Importantly we don't always know who is who though.

I think it's permissible once the correct answer had been given. Of course a lot of people will grumble anyway but we shouldn't deny them the pleasure of doing so.
