Argos - I Am Furious

I booked the delivery of my new washing machine on 22 May, for this Friday - not the first date I could have chosen but I would prefer to take a Friday off
Just received a text to say the delivery will not take place - and they will contact me within the next two days to re-arrange another date!

I'd cancel...and go to John Lewis, always tops for delivery.

Get your money back and go to AO, they seem to get good reviews and deliver very quickly.

Whats the point - it won't make any difference. I once ordered some drawers from Homebase who called me on the day to tell me they would not be delivering and I need to re-order.
Thinking about it - I think there is a connection between Homebase and Argos

I'm with Rocky on this one. AO will deliver when it suits you including evenings and weekends.

Will be delivered at the same time as the one I expected from argos

I ordered a dishwasher from AO. It was delivered the next day, but when it came to be fitted later that day I found it didn't fit the space. My mistake completely. I rang AO and told them and the man waited on the phone whilst I looked at their website and chose another one. The replacement was delivered the next day and the wrong one taken away. I have nothing but praise for that company. Excellent.
