Can anyone help me out with shoe widths. Have been looking at sandals on-line and they are E, EE, EEE etc. How do I measure the width of my feet?

If you get a normal size shoe box and you can put your foot in it you'll be E or EE. If not You'll be screaming EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !
