I notice that the NASA space site for sightings of the ISS (International Space Station) is not available "due to lapse of funding". I was quite astonished to see that as I didn't really understand how far reaching this crisis would be.
Not that I understand the meltdown fully really, is it a case of it just a blip or will things get "back to normal" asap?
Thanks boxtops I forgot to put the link in. Hopefully it will get back to normal with the budget, just seems inconceivable that it can happen to any country but the US, just amazing.
Thanks excel but it was the one I always use that gives the dates and times to be able to view the ISS in your area. The one I use is the one Wendilla uses to give the times each day when it's viewable.
Thanks for that Buenchico, interesting reading and I can understand a bit more now. Still amazed that such an important (?) country in the world has come to this, crazy really in the scheme of things.
Register here and select your viewing location from the map for a list of visible ISS passes over your area for the next 10 days. Includes times/dates and locations of appearance, highest point and peak visual magnitude.
