I got a loaf out if the freezer this morning, now I find I don't need it, can I out it back?

depends how long it's been out of the freezer - if not long, then yes put it back in

Been about 2 hours, it's nearly thawed.

If you do re-freeze it, it will be perfectly safe - but the texture may suffer!
You could make bread and butter pudding :o)

Yes, I'll freeze anything, it's not like it's meat or fish which would be risky.
