I'm looking for a good quality fitted cotton shirt like this.

Having a bit of a struggle finding one in the usual high street shops so has anyone got any ideas? I want proper cuffs too :)

Tried there Boxy, didn't have much luck.
Perhaps it's a stupid answer, but why not buy this one from Next?

Der, they don't fit :)
Eddie Bauer makes great qualityshirts; http://www.eddiebauer.com/EB/Women/Shirts--Blouses/index.cat
Charles Tyrwhitt or TM Lewins?

Unless you have boobs when they are both a bit useless.... :-(
saisburys ot tesco
Quite a few shirts in Tesco today.
Would the supermarkets have a good quality, double cuff shirt though?

Thanks all, I forgot about Lewin's. I don't have boobs but the Next one still gapped really badly, I'm a size 12 36b, tried the 12 on, no chance, couldn't even do the button up on the bust, tried the 14 which was looser than I would have liked but still gaped on the bust. I didn't bother with the 16.

You'd think it would be simple buying a plain white shirt, it's like buying jeans, a major pain in the rear.

I'll pop up to our Tesco but I haven't noticed any in there.

Thanks again.

Thanks Khandro, it's all in $ unfortunately.
Eccles....they stock different ranges.
Rocky, apparently M&S have got a non-gaping shirt, only seen photos...and it looked a bit naff, might be worth a look see.

Lewins/Tywhitt do good fabric(not too transparent) and some have stretch for a better fit.

Umm, you live and learn! Supermarkets and clothes shopping just don't come together for me.....and Waitrose don't sell clothes and it is a rare day that I venture further afield than Waitrose!

Looks like it's a trip into the city for me then.

Good excuse to pop into Borough Market ;)
Question Author
I did see that one online Eccles, thought it had a bit frumpiness about it.

I will pop into the local supermarkets, you ever know. I got a nice dress from Tesco last week for £12, the most beautiful colour blue.
It did look a bit naff/frumpy....I crossed my fingers that the reality might be better ;-)

Good luck in your quest...it is like trying to find the perfect pair of jeans.....a completely unenviable task :-(
