Pouring rain here and blowing a hoolie. This has become our normal summer weather over the past 3 years hasn't it? I've got a Bokwa class at 8am, then meeting a friend at 9.30 for coffee, then a workman coming to clean out my guttering this afternoon. When I say MY guttering, I mean the HOUSE guttering. !.... but you knew that didn't you? ... Just wanted to clarify . Have a good day folks. I hope the sun shines on you at some point today.

It's been wet here too, but dry at the moment. 'Yer wee man' on the idiot box says it may not be too bad here today. I hope he's right because I'm in the Heritage Centre today.
The Solstice Walk went very well. Lots of walkers, some on four legs and with waggy tails, took part. We were seeing them safely across the main road for three hours! Over two hundred helium filled balloon with the name of a loved one on were tethered in the grounds and lit up by lanterns while an Irish folk group played a lament. Not too many dry eyes among all the people there. It wads lovely. I brought the one with Vesa's name on home with me.
The Creative Therapy room extension is well under way. A big yellow machine has levelled the ground and is ready to dig the footings in the coming week. I'm impatient to see it finished. Part of the dining room has been taken over as a temporary art room. It was a wonderful evening. I got home at 10.45.

jan it was at Cotswold Care Hospice. They always hold a 10K walk on midsummer day. It used to be at midnight, but no a lot could be seen of the beautiful countryside. So it was brought forward to 6 PM. Much better!
I was a marshal seeing them safely across the main road.
