Boring, I know, but this is what he wants. Can anyone recommend the best for a man who works outside and also does a lot of walking for pleasure? Size 9.
Many thanks.

I would have a look at those camping / hiking web sites if I were you annemollie, they usually sell that type of thing.
I bought some from M&S when I was in my early 20's and I am still wearing them now 35(?) years later.
('Bout time I washed 'em.....)
Gawd blimey shoota, I bet they walk on there own lol.

I have now come across Bridgedale. They look just the job. (Not advertising, Ed).

Shoota
Baking soda if all else fails.
Aldi have some brilliant thermal ski socks, OH wears them a lot in cold weather (mind you, the scrabble for them last Thursday might mean they#ve sold out...)

Unfortunately, boxy, we don't have any Aldi stores here in NI. Thanks anyway.

I have bought from this site before, it wasnt next day delivery, took 3 working days but the products were very good.

Now I'm desperately trying to think which of the other men in my life would like a pair (from each recommendation). Then I can do a satisfaction poll.
Many thanks.
