Last week is was fuel, then it was water butts (waiting for new stock to come from China!) and now its stamps!

Ahead of the price risat the end of the month people are stockpiling stramps and the Post Offices are running out. They will be rationed now until the new ones come out.

What will be next do we think?!

I suppose they have to ration them Maidup. Stockpiling too many could be a fire hazard!

Yes especially if you still have cans of petrol in the side board!
And no water butt!
Was in my local Post Office today and the assistant told me someone had been in an hour earlier and bought 200 first class and 200 second class stamps.
Wow did they take out a mortgage on them Maggie! :)
If I bought 400 stamps I`d put them in a safe place and lose them.
Passing thought was how many Christmas cards does he/she send!
Pity the poor post offfice with people not playing the game .We only wanted to overprice and rob you and there you all go and spoil it fo us you naughty people imagine the cheek of it trying to get out of giving us more money .If I could design a new stamp it would not be places of interest in Britian but a picture of the burgler you know with the stripped jumper and the black rimmed glasses carrying the bag of swag..Now they are saying it the cheapest in europe .What has that got to do with it .what about our fuel is it the cheapest in europe .

Yep - 46p up to 60p is nothing short of daylight robbery.
what will be daylight robbery is those businesses who are buying up stamps at today's prices, with the intent of selling them on after the 30th, to the unsuspecting gullible public, at the new inflated prices :-o

Well as far as we understand, they can't do that now because they're being rationed. Superdrug and Morrisons for example are both sold out apparently and waiting on supplies which will be a limited allocation for the remainder of the month. I guess much of the stock piling is by small businesses who rely on the postal service to deliver goods or to send and receive payments.
i think they should stamp it out !
Question Author
^^ Indeed :-)
I got 150 last week.
£69
Why not ?
They can only go up in value.
