Does anyone regularly get money off vouchers for goods and services from this website? Is it worth joining or is it a waste of time? There are numerous other websites that offer money off vouchers, can anyone recommend any that are genuine and are worth joining?

Groupon has been on Watchdog lately because small businesses have been persuaded to give offers, resulting of hundreds of take ups that the businesses just can't cope with.
All got refunds though.
Worth a try.
I had a £30 body shop voucher for £12 a few months ago and have also had 2 fish pedicure vouchers for £10. There are some good offers to be had - indeed today's for my area (Derby) is a carvery meal + a 3hr Trent river cruise for 4 people any Sunday for £36 all in.
So yes , you have nothing to lose by joining. They email you the offers for your area every morning.
I've had several good deals from Groupon, including hairdressing and meals.
Best bet is to have a look at the company that they are offering the deal with online first if possible before taking the deal. As hc has pointed out some of the smaller companies can't cope with the demand, also check any smallprint on the offers as some can be very restrictive.

Saying that it is not all doom and gloom, we have saved a small fortune as a family by taking some of the deals they have offered.
I've bought 2 large canvases (photos), had a brazilian blow dry and this weekend I've got a haircut and a mixology class booked. Total savings are around £300!
