Someone told me you can clean leather gloves in lemon juice, is this true and if so how does one go about it?

i wouldnt use lemon juice as it has citric acid in it,,you can buy saddle soap from shops that sell outdoor camping and riding stuff and that is used for washing leather,,then once you have washed and dried the leather use some leather balm to moisturise the leather..it is also good for leather settes and jackets..dont suppose you will want to go to so much effort for a pair of gloves though,,i have washed leather with soap flakes the pure sort you get from supermarkets to wash woolen jumpers in and it has been fine so you could also try that,,
