Rediscovered two pairs of leather gloves in the bottom of an old box which have unfortunately gone very mouldy.Apart from possibly taking them to be dry cleaned(don't even know if that is possible)is there a way that I can clean them up and get them sweet smelling again?
Also any tips for getting the smell of mould out of woollen hats and gloves?
Any help would be appreciated,thanks

Good old fashioned saddle soap
Maybe you could just hang the woollen hat and gloves on the line in the sun for a few days, might help.
I would wash the gloves (put them on your hands and wash as if washing hands) Use unperfumed simple soap. Squueeze as much water as you can from them the dry flat. Should be fine.
Again wash the hat and gloves and I agree hang outside on the line to get rid of the smell.
Then I would suggest you sort your damp problem out ha ha .

Thanks,I will try the hanging outside after washing for a few days, then saddle soap them-well the leather gloves anyway.
Been trying for the last 6 years to sort the damp problem,I think the answer is a new landlord LOL
Thanks again
Not sure about getting rid of the smell, but for the mildew, believe it or not wax furniture polish does it.

Got some clear Dubbin at last!-the black stuff I had was no good for pink gloves. It has worked a treat, and was a bit cheaper than the wax polish.
Thanks All
