Wedding Outfit...In Need Of Ideas!

Off to a wedding soon, but am stuck on what to wear (I'm female). I usually always wear casual clothes, and the only times I'm dressed smartly is in a business style trouser suit or trouser and shirt/top combination.

I've recently lost quite abit of weight (though still about a size 16), but definitely would not be comfortable in a dress or skirt yet (plus I'm more tomboyish than girly girl). I also want to avoid looking too old (I'm 22).

Anyway, need to find an outfit than will involve trousers, but won't look like I should be in an office. I also hate my arms, so would like long sleeves if possible. Any ideas whatsoever? I'm hopeless at anything fashion related!

go for a thigh length feminine floaty multi coloured tunic dress matched with leggings and knee boots , use a large chuncky metallic belt sitting on your hips to accessorise with matching metallic bag.

I like your thinking dot, will definitely bear that idea in mind! Thanks!
good idea from Dot.hawkes but also do you have a friend that you could go shopping with - go to a large department store with plenty of choice and just try on lots of things. You should have no problem getting an outfit which involves trousers. Happy shopping!

Thanks joannie! Am planning a shopping trip very soon!
You could do worse than to have a look in Monsoon. They have some great clothes in there.
Hi zippadee - Have you looked on the Debenhams website? They have quite a good range! xxx
