A long way off I hear you say................but early planning is essential as prior preparation prevents a p!ss poor performance.

It appears I will be alone again this Christmas as my folks are going away and the vast majority of my friends have children so spending time with them is truly hideous.

My question therefore, assuming I will not meet a girl between then and now due to me being a bit of a tw@t, is what shall I do? I will be teaching by then so will have about three weeks off.

Does anybody know of any decent charity that does not involve children I can help out on?

Are there any decent single holidays to be had (single in the sense of you are alone, not an invitation for every wanton strumpet to flash her bloomers at me!!)?

What is a man to do? Money not really an object within reason, so a trip to the moon is out of the question.

Come and skydive with me: http://www.skydiveport.co.uk/

Or you could even come snowboarding with me:<link coming soon>
Lots of things to do.
No i don't know of any xmas chartitys.
The Samaritans?

Your local animal shelter? I'm sure the dogs and cats would appreciate extra cuddles and treats, and i know you're an animal softy like me- go on, it'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside ;-)
A charity like Shelter always wants extra hands over the Christmas holiday also the Salvation Army .
the dogs home is always looking for dog walkers as everyone is too busy enjoying themselves at xmas.

worth a look
some cahirties in you area may hold a christmas dinner for the homeless that you could help with? - that would be a lovely thing to do x
Just treat it the same as any other day, lets face it Jesus wasn't born on Xmas day lol and if if want to give loved ones and friends a gift I do it all year round.

bah humbug.....
Go round all your local nursing and care homes, spread some cheer to the crumblies that will be on their own this xmas - you never know you could even blag your way onto a few wills if you through a few xmas carols into your visits ; )

By making all these new friends at xmas you will also be able to call on them during the following summer hols when your bored i.e for lawn bowls, coach trips to chedder gorge etc
What if they are doing somthing already Black Noir?

Life in a vacuum sucks
Lets face it Crossroads if Shadow Man didnt go and entertain them they would only potentially:
a/ be watching repeats of Sound of Music
b/ Playing backgammon
c/ concealing wet/soiled undercrackers from previous night in carrier bag stolen from fellow resident and hiding it in the common room under Enid or Bert's chair (cos there are always people by this name in oldfolks homes)

So you do have feelings then shadowman. I was beginning to think there would be no penetrating that icey exterior. Obviously I was wrong in saying you didn't go to school earlier, so appologies for that, although I really hope it isn't biology that you teach!! Seriously though, a couple of comments you've made in your most recent posts are probably the best thing you've said all day.
From a self righteous moron
oh and RSPCA is a good one
Get a christmas job with the post office delivering letters, they always need the staff, you will be working on your own, and if you are really good they will give you a red van like postman pat!!!
Seriously, go with your family, enjoy having relatives and make yourself like them, they will appreciate it.
how about going round charity shops, buying loads of toys, boxing them up, wrapping them and taking them round the childrens hospitals and orphanages etc, perhaps even dressed as santa?
hahaha, I love THAT idea!

Can you imagine a more miserable Santa than Wardy? The kids will be praying for him to bu88er off back to the North Pole by the end of his visit.
To my surprise ... I came home early from work today and playing with the radio trying to find something suitably to my taste, I landed on a channel playing Christmas music. I love it! love it!

Do you know it's winter in Chile?
And hes that interestead hes answered... Not.! .. Just another boring f4rt question
The cyrenians (spelling?) is a charity for the homeless, I guess they could probably do with some help over christmas. Personally although I love my family dearly, the though of Christmas to myself appeals. i think that I would get something tastey in for my tea and go for a long walk in the country or by the sea and chill out with a dvd.
