yesterday was lovely, warm and sunny - just what was needed, hopefully today will be more of the same. Anyone have plans for the day? i am hunting for some more furniture. But looking online takes an age if you go on somewhere like Amazon. I am looking for a smallish side table to put a plant on. and maybe a magazine rack...

Good morning Emmie, not a lot of plans today just some housework and gardening getting some autumn/winter veg sown and of course exercise the hounds.
Have you looked at Wayfair? I bought a sofa from them and an ottoman and I am very pleased with them

Good morning everyone. Been up ages again. Had the result of my covid test back yesterday and it was positive as I thought it was going to be as I have had many symptoms for a few days but was quite bad yesterday.

have ordered a small chair, matching hopefully my sofa.

Thanks emmie, I think it's the cough that is the worse. I have had one for over 4 years now and docs are trying to find out what is causing it but this cough with the covid is a lot worse. Then I have to stay away from everyone as one of my sons is getting married at the end of the month.

does that mean you can't go to the wedding, that would be such a shame.

RH, just bought a beautiful tall vase from wayfair, not cheap but will go well in the living room.

Morning shedman sorry to hear your unwell my cousin is currently unwell with Covid too despite being double jabbed.
She has been hospitalised over it, at 52 very worrying.

Very exciting Emmie, I have got rid of a lot of clutter in preparation for moving in the next year, will then look at buying so new stuff like side tables once we move.

all my old (though less than six months) furniture is going to charity, they are picking it up next week. I just didn't think the stuff i had worked in the living room, so changed the whole lot, not the sofa and chair but everything else.

Redhelen72, thanks for that. I have been double jabbed back at the beginning of May. Hope your cousin soon gets better. It's the cough I have job putting up with as there is not much sleep. The temperature and lack of smell and taste isn't good either. Wife says my eyes look terrible as they are very bloodshot. Yes emmie I should be alright to go to the wedding. Come out of isolation 7 days before it.
