My first great grandchild is now 14 days overdue which means she will be born over the Christmas period.
My daughter was born on the 22nd of December and has always grumbled that it was over looked by many people because they were too busy with Christmas.

Any other Abers have a Christmas birthday?

Hi Leah....one son....one daughter and a granddaughter...rotten planning that was!

I always made sure the children had birthdays as special as anyone else. If they received a joint.....this is you birthday and Christmas.....present I would do the same for the giver whenever the birthday.

Some puzzled looks getting a Christmas wrapped pressie in July.....☺
Late OH so his choice (to his mum) every year but not so now - as per Gge Michael.... Freedom ;)

Spelling intentional!
A son is Boxing Day, fortunately, family treat it as a separate day.
(well, it is a different event, even if you're born on Xmas day like Minty)
My godson has a Christmas Day birthday. He was upset when he was a child (he'll be 47 on Wednesday) because:-

a) He never received cards by post on his actual birthday
b) People often gave him a combined birthday/Christmas present

Yep mine just before the day, never had problems with people forgetting luckily enough but feel miffed because the Christmas season is in full swing and it doesn't seem that important as those who have birthdays other times of the year. Happy birthday to all who have birthdays at this time x.
one of my alba's is 4th August, when the Queen Mum was 100, he was fair chuffed that fireworks were being set off to celebrate his birthday!

(Didn't have the heart to tell him at that time)
Happy Birthday, Booldawg!

There are quite a few ABers over the next week or so.
born on Devember 25... Dido, Annie Lennox, Humphrey Bogart, Isaac Newton, Sissy Spacek, Kenny Everett, Louise Bourgeois, Quentin Crisp, and, er, Leopold II of Anhalt-Dessau. Just about everyone except Jesus, in fact.

Juno, LOL.
I'm on the 29th. Hated it as a kid as most people forgot, or I would get happy birthday written on the bottom of my Christmas card.

My mum used to tell me that the town council left the Christmas lights up especially for my birthday. To this day I like to believe that.
14 days overdue, I hope she delivers/or induced soon .
Mine is 28th 3 days after. I have a sister who celebrates hers 22nd, 3 days before, 4 years between us and a nephew who was born on 24th. Often my cards arrive late due to the Christmas Bank Holidays especially when they fall over the weekend as then my birthday then becomes a BH and no post delivery.
