Just checked into the Holiday Inn at Poole. Long boring day, left hotel at 11.00.a.m. and just filled the time as best we could. Better crossing than going and half an hour shorter. Just so glad to be back in GB. Home tomorrow.

did you pick up any duty free type stuff on the ferry?

Yes we did 2 x 1 litre bottles of gin for £16 and OH got rolling tobacco, can't remember how much but he said it was a good price, not as good as Adinkerke though.

Went to St Malo area a few years ago spent last day in the sun at Cancale.In the evening we were told to go Cherbourg due to bad weather, it was rough , you never know.
