christmas shopping

I have a feeling it's going to be one of those threads, but i'm going christmas shopping soon.

What should I buy my dad for christmas?

It needs to be something that's between 5 and £10 but it can't be any of the following which rules out nearly anything possible;

~chocolate (he's too fussy and even if he doesn't like them he just shoves some in his mouth then screws his face up and leaves the rest)
~a mug (he has to have china cups, which I've never found with any of those slogans on)
~clothes (including slippers and accesories such as jewelry) (he's so fussy, and he just got a new pair of slippers and he's allergic to lots of metals and wouldn't wear jewelry anyway)
~alcohol (he has tonnes in the cupboard and even if I got someone to buy it for me, my budget doesn't extend to buy the kinds of things he likes)
~CDs or DVDs (he never watches or listens to them.)

tbh molly you dont say much about him does he have any hobbies fishing reading gardening ect???

Sweet Jaysus! Why don't you just ask him what he wants. If he says he doesn't know, get him some chocs and be done with it. How the merry hell would we know what your dad likes?

Buy him one of those voice things....what are they called? You talk into it and it changes your voice.....At least they'll be variations of his moaning :-)

That's about all his hobbies ummm aswell as trawling through ebay and boatshop24 for boats aswell.

The closest he gets to reading is flicking through the screwfix and argos catalogues.

Make him a T Shirt....like I said. It's cheap and can be funny.

I got a T Shirt embroidered with 'plastic' on the front. It cost £11.50.

(it was for a friend that was born in England to Irish parents...Plastic Paddy)

Think of something amusing. Like I said I'm getting one done for OH saying 'get off me'...it's a personal joke between us. It's cheap and will make him laugh when he opens it even though he'll only wear it in the house...
