If the circus's have animals in them, particular wild ones, then im more than happy for children to be scared from going to them.

Because there are quite a lot of people around where I live whose appearance is, frankly, a bit worrying. Maybe I should call the Police.

I agree, Boo. A circus is no place for animals.
I don't think they have animals in circuses now. Not in the UK or Europe, at least.
The superintendent said officers would be patrolling areas where the reports had been made and would offer "strong words of advice" to anyone dressed as a clown.

What, in your opinion, would be the advice given?

When I saw the title I thought it was just another question about parliament.

I actually chased one of these characters once. He jumped in a car and sped off, but the doors and bonnet flew off it after a few yards. Serves him right.
The clowns round here were knocking on peoples doors late at night and scaring them. It's not on really.

I went to Slough yesterday and didn't spot a single clown. Is this significant?
