Just musing you know, but it seems to me that, no matter how wrong people are, or in some cases how rude, apologising is not an option for them. Are you 'man' or 'woman' enough to apologise when you're wrong - and if not, why not?

yes, I think it's best to put your hands up and say "I got it wrong" and apologise.
Always, I could not bear it not to.
I always apologise, especially to my children.
Yes.
Yes - definitely - but it takes courage sometimes to admit you are wrong, even if you know it.
Yes I do Naomi....
I always apologise if I am wrong. It's much more graceful to admit that you have made a mistake and I think people appreciate it and respect you more, especially young people.
I've always tried to...maybe too much in the past.
I have done many a time Naomi, especially at work. I calculated nearly 200 members of staff annual leave wrong on a computer based system and as soon as I realised I'd messed up I sent out an email to everyone in my unit apologising to them I also said that I would re-calculate them all even though it was about a week before I went on maternity!
Always, always, always naomi. I also appreciate the value of a speedy and full apology. It was one of the important lessons that my mother taught her children.
IMO, especially in the workplace, people respect you more for admitting that you fouled up but that you are doing everything possible to correct it. It happens.

where are all the men??!

was that answer in relation to the question sara, or just a general enquiry?
Yes. Apologising would be the best thing to do if one is honest, and want to carry on with the relationship / friendship.

I find myself apologising for things that I'm not guilty of just to make peace.
Yes, I was just about to say they are never wrong sara.
Yes, I do and as soon as I can.

I'm not often wrong though!! :)
