Atheroma doesn't have a pleural.
Chambers Big Red Brick:

atheroma noun (atheromas or atheromata) pathol in atherosclerosis: a fatty deposit that develops on the inner surface of an artery wall.
Atheromas is fine ... just because Powepoint doesn't have the plural stored in it's memory, it flagged it. Add it to the dictionary and you'll have no further problem.

Thanks.

I didn't want to add a word to the dictionary that doesn't exist naz.
In medicine, the plural of atheroma (if there is such a thing) is atheromatous which becomes an adjective to describe deposits or plaques

e.g atheromatous plaques or atheromatous deposits............it is used as an adjective.
. . . but the dictionary DOES exist Molly.
