Surprised you've not been judged by some over this one yet!

8-14 days for an occasional user, about double for a regular user, that's by normal tests..... it's detectable in your hair until you have that period of growth cut out.

Your best bet is don't do it though.... chances are nobody else thinks you're as great as you do when on it....
This is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string. The good news is that cocaine is usually eliminated from the body in the pure form within around two hours of ingestion, but higher doses have been shown to remain longer. However, cocaine may be detectable in urine for up to twelve hours after ingestion using the most modern testing techiques.

Now for the bad news. A substance called benzoylecgonine is formed during the breakdown of cocaine in the body. This happens in the liver. Benzoylecgonine is not formed during the breakdown of any other substance in the human body, which means that when its found in a urine sample, its a safe bet that the sample has come from a cocaine user. Benzoylecgonine is detectable in urine for around fourteen days after ingestion of cocaine and I know of one case where it was found nineteen days after ingestion. The higher the cocaine dose, the easier it is to detect cocaine metabolites such as benzoylecgonine and others.

The rate of metabolism of cocaine is also affected by the weight and gender of user.
If using over an extended period of time, it build's up in the cerebral spinal fluid - lymph and other non circulating bodily fluids.

So staying out of trouble, consuming lots of cranberry juice increases the acidity of the urine and shifts the partition of coefficient in the nephrone of the kidney in favor of excreting the toxin more rapidly.

A last ditch method of avoiding detection is to get some powdered bleach, on the finger tip, finger nail and rinse it off in the urine sample. bleach attacks the toxin by oxidation, converting it to a harmless set of fragments.

Remember to drink lots of water lots. And give the smallest urine sample possible and a lot of bleach, this also works better with more easily oxidized substances such as thc.
ha ha thanks Chuckfickens,

your answer has given me an immediate rehabilitation!
tweaker, I'd politely suggest that you get yourself a good book on neuroscience before you make the assertions you did above; build-up of cocaine or any other drug in the CSF is impossible.

CSF is produced at the rate of about 0.4ml per minute in humans and the CSF turnover rate is directly proportional to the CSF formation rate whilst being inversely proportional to CSF volume. Normal CSF volume is between 500ml and 600ml in humans with 0.3% to 0.4% being renewed per minute. Renewal of CSF is vital for the removal of brain metabolites from the body and the CSF volume is totally replaced approximately four times per day.

CSF is cleared from the body by flowing along the subarachnoid spaces that enclose the nasal and optic nerves. A further route is via the cribriform plate of the ethmoid bone where the CSF drains into the nasal subucosa and the cervical lymphatic system. There is also some evidence of drainage via the lymphatic system to a minor extent. Brain CSF also drains into the dural venous sinuses of the superior sagittal sinus into the internal jugular vein and then into the venous circulation.

(continued)
Look at it like this: if the CSF was a full enclosed system, medicinal drug administration directly into the CSF would be impractical as it could readily lead to pharmacotoxicity.

Youre also mistaken over the status of lymph. It is not a non-circulating body fluid.

Finally, Ive been awestruck by the concept of a cocaine user walking about with powdered bleach beneath their fingernails just on the off chance of being detained by the police etc and being asked to provide a urine sample. How many cocaine users have white fingernail tips? It must be lots of fun eating food. Besides, are you really asking us to believe that the police etc would be naive enough to allow a user to swish his/her finger(s) around in the sample container unsupervised?

Benzoylecgonine is totally unaffected by sodium hypochlorite( your bleach powder). Your set of fragments defies interpretation
Ask Gareth Hock of Wigan Rugby League Club. He is suspended pending a second drug test. If second test is positive he gets a 2 year ban from the game.
the prof.

fair enough. I don't use coke, just meth. anyway powdered bleach - a zip bag to carry it in ???? a quick dip on your finger before you **** ? it works fine, and my write up is correct concerning either isomer of I/L D Methamphetamine hydrochloride, being a stronger stimulant I guessed it'd be the same for coke.

But you are right. Sorry. Coke differs vastly.
