As p-dichlorobenzene cools, what happends to the kinetic energy of the p-dichlorobenzene?

Kinetic energy is defined as :-

KE = 1/2 mV ^2

Therefore as paradichlorbenzene cools the velocity of its molecules reduces and therefore its kinetic energy decreases proportionally.
