In our Kleneeze catalogue there is a device called a defrosting tray. Apparently you can place frozen meats etc on it and they defrost very quickly. Do they work, and if so how?

The Kleneeze model "works" on the same principle as the Miracle-Thaw ones.

There are lots of other reports on the internet refuting the claims made for these products..
hmm, even if you did find one that worked,

the only rel safe way of defrosting food is to place it on a non pore solid container and leave it till it is defrosted,

if you left it at room temprature you would have a breeding ground for bacteria, and the food would defrost but not be in a particually healthy state!
my reply didnt make any sense at all!

food should be in a non porous material container and left in a fridge till defrosted to slow down any possible bacteria growth
