Hi Can someone please try to explain in easy terms what makes 1 day hotter than another
so today is hot without a cloud in the sky but tommorow is going to be hotter
Why??????????

You haven't really explained your question completely. From what I can see, I have a few answers:

If it has been hot enough during one day, heat can remain over night, even when the temperature has cooled, and this higher starting temperature helps the amount of absorbed heat (in asphalt, for instance) to achieve higher values.

Changes in cloud cover, atmospheric activity, even humidity can affect the temperature outside.
