I have an aquarium its mainly stocked with discus fish, but i do have 3 shrimps, i didnt see these shrimps for a few days but noticed a shell of what looked like a shrimp shell and thought they'd been eaten. But after a closer inspection they're still there. Do shrimps shed thier shells?

Yes. All creatures with an exoskeleton shed it in order to grow. It takes a while for the new soft shell to harden. This means they are more vulnerabe to attack and usually remain hidden until it hardens.
