Hi when sara (Dr) was talking to Schofields psycologist or someone he told her about a condition that Schofield had that makes him analyze every detail about an object, like he sees a lamp as bolts and other things its made up rather than just taking it as a lamp and said if a person has a low IQ this would lead to mental problems, does anyone who what the condition is called? if it exists at all? thanks

This sounds rather like Autism to me

He has a condition called Low Latent Inhibition. It basically (as far as I can work out) mean that someone is incredibly creative. So with a high IQ - this can become very useful - as the psychologist said - he doesn't just see a lamp he will see everything that goes into it - bulb , wires, filament etc - they don't have the ability to "tune out" un needed info. Of course for someone with a low IQ this inability to tune out "everything" and just see, the item or thing as a whole will literally fry their brain.

Although I ain't a psychologist so that is a very basic answer, P.S Prison break is damn good.
