Theoretically,if we shine particles travelling faster than the speed of light on a black hole,can we see the singularity inside?

If Tachyons travel faster than light and they therefore move backwards in time, surely they're unobservable? Maybe it would be possible to make a device which recorded where they had 'been' but nothing else?
