Unfortunately we don't do math in the UK, we do maths.

Duplicate (see link in OP)

Jackdaw, maybe it's an abbreviation!
Also, Johnyfive, a lot of them in the UK learned how to pronounce "schedule" in shool:)

Math and maths are the same thing jackdaw. tomatoe tomato..

Stuey I can pronounce schedule pretty easily so do not understand what you mean.

Yes, but do you say "skedual" or "shedual"?
Question Author
I see what you're saying now, I say skedual
The correct way, just like me. Now let's see what happens...If anything:)
Your math(s) is wrong if you think it takes nine minutes to travel 100m at 3mph.
Stuey is taking the Mickey. He means that schedule is pronounced shedyool while school is pronounced skool. Also, there is no such word as tomatoe, unless you are a former VP of the USA.
Question Author
It's the only way to spell it how it sounds without confusing you by posting tomato up twice.
Question Author
Or as we say phonetically
Question Author
Jesus I gotta pack! I'm outta here!
Maybe "tomahto"?
Tomayto, tomahto.
Potato, potahto, let's call the whole thing off...

Bye Jonny, it's been a pleasure (for you)!
Don't leave: it could get interesting. But we'll leave the math alone.
Wonder if he is studying for a BSc, with the emphasis on BS?
Sorry, Nauru
